Visiting Broadway Market (in between Haggerston and London Fields) for the first time, I was a little too cold to eat from one of the food stalls.
I strolled past Edgar’s Bar and saw they served brunch until late afternoon so I delved in. Relaxed interior with sofas and big chairs, fairy lights and rows of books (for sale as well), not to forget the board games (pictionary, connect 4, scrabble and connect 4) which I entertained myself with before brunch arrived.
We also had the pancakes with blueberry yoghurt, honey and fresh fruit – not as good as the full english but felt light and healthy.
Friendly and welcoming staff and some banging 80s tunes. Also open in the evenings with various happy hour deals available.
