The Hamptons Bar is towards the back of the entrance of the St James’ Court hotel (a Taj Hotel). I visited for the “Champagne and canapés flight” which was £20 per person.
There are around 6/7 tables in the bar with plush chairs and decoration. As you arrive, you are served with a selection of crisps and nuts/spicy crackers.
The champagne and canapés then follow and I must say I was rather surprised with the generosity of the champagne – 75ml glasses but they are filled to the brim and it gives you a great chance of trying them all. The accompanying canapés are scallops with aubergine, salmon and prawn marie and vegetable ratatouille. Lovely evening.
