What a fantastic steak restaurant – simple but effective menu:
Such good value for a brilliant, flavoursome cut of steak that is not fatty at all! The steak is always £10 and then you add on the sides that you want – we had the dripping cooked chips and the creamed spinach.
Be warned – there is always a queue to get in (yes even on Monday nights!) but you can put your name down and then they text you when there is a table free so at least you can pop to a bar nearby. Flat Iron is so popular that it opened a new branch in Covent Garden recently which is double the size to the one in Beak Street. We went on a weekend and there was only a 45 minute wait.
Nice restaurant with low lighting and good music. Had a great time!
