Padron Tapas Bar on Bethnal Green Road recently opened and is a welcome East London addition. There has been some criticism that the staff can be abrupt but I found them pleasant and very authentic, which I liked.
The restaurant offers high tables with stools and long benches to eat your tapas. Fairly normal mix of tapas dishes and they come out when they are ready. We had chorizo (cold and hot!) padron peppers, croquettes, patatas bravas, meatballs and tomato bread. All reasonably priced under £5. Not the best tapas I have had in London but still tasty. Please note that the venue only takes card, not cash!
Padron also sells local products in the restaurant.
