Voodoo Rays is a Amercian pizza joint in Dalston and in Boxpark, Shoreditch. It serves HUGE New York style pizza and a selection of cocktails including frozen margaritas.
The best bit is the fact it is open until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights if you fancy some late dinner after a dance! I visited around 11pm and it was busy and playing some great tunes – just a nice, chilled out atmosphere.
The pizza slices can be folded in half like the classic pizzas in New York. They have choices such as classic margarita, salt beef, goats cheese and sunblushed tomatoes, hot mix with pepperoni and jalapenos and sausage and stilton. Great selection with new, original flavours. I had “The Meat Is On” with pepperoni, minced steak, pancetta and ham – absolutely great and £4 a slice.
They also offer giant 22 inch pizzas if you can manage it 🙂
